England - Yorkshire Dales to Lake District

The north aisle of St Nicholas Church has a stained glass window that still has fragments of medieval glass. It sits above the coats of arms to the Marmion and St Quintin families. Behind the altar is a wooden carving of angels either side of a nativity scene. The taller pillars at each end portray St George killing a dragon.
